Program Description:
A yearly scholarship grant of $1,000 will be awarded to an undergraduate student, with a special interest in the Soil and Water area of study.
Program Restrictions:
Applicants must be: 1. A student member of ASAE. 2. A biological or agricultural engineering major with an emphasis of study in Soil & Water. 3. Must have COMPLETED at least one year of undergraduate study and have at LEAST one year of undergraduate study remaining from the time of application. 4. Your curriculum is accredited by ABET or CEAB. 5. Your GPA is at least 2.5 (or equivalent on 4.0 basis).

Application Details:
Letter must address the following: Formally request the Merriam Scholarship grant; include your ASAE member number, state that you are at least at a sophomore level, and have at least one year of study remaining towards a degree; list your accredited engineering program; grade point average as of your last semester; explain why you have selected the Soil and Water discipline as the focus for your degree. Please be brief, limit your letter to no more than two pages. See Web site for further details.
