Program Description:

The ASM International Fellowship Program seeks to foster mentor relationships between senior scientists and academically gifted young investigators in developing countries. The program seeks to promote research and training collaborations that will encourage and further the careers of early-career scientists in the microbiological sciences internationally.

This award is intended to encourage North America/Argentina collaborations in microbiological research and training. In particular, it seeks to promote research on non-medically related projects in the microbiological sciences by Argentinean nationals. Currently awarding up to five ASM/Antorchas Fellowships per year. Funding for this award is partially provided by the Fundación Antorchas of Argentina.
